After Body Wax Care
Exfoliate Regularly
Exfoliation helps to remove dead skin cells and prevent ingrown hairs.
It is recommended to exfoliate your skin 2-3 times per week, using a
gentle scrub. Be sure to avoid exfoliating the waxed area for the first
24 hours after your wax.
Moisturize Regularly
Moisturizing helps to keep your skin hydrated and prevent dryness.
Apply a fragrance-free, hypoallergenic moisturizer to your skin after
bathing or showering.
Avoid Sun Exposure
Sun exposure can irritate your skin and increase your risk of
hyperpigmentation (darkening of the skin). It is important to avoid
sun exposure for the first 24-48 hours after your wax. If you must go
outside, be sure to wear sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.
Avoid Hot Water
Hot water can irritate your skin and increase your risk of ingrown
hairs. Avoid taking hot showers or baths for the first 24 hours after
your wax.
Wear Loose Clothing
Wearing loose clothing helps to prevent friction and irritation. Avoid
wearing tight clothing or clothing made of synthetic materials, as
these can trap heat and moisture.
Avoid Touching the Waxed Area
Touching the waxed area can introduce bacteria and increase your risk
of infection. Avoid touching the waxed area for the first 24 hours
after your wax.
Schedule Your Next Wax
Regular waxing helps to keep your skin smooth and prevent ingrown
hairs. It is recommended to schedule your next wax 3-4 weeks after
your previous wax.
Seek Professional Help If Needed
If you experience any irritation, redness, or swelling after your wax,
it is important to seek professional help. These symptoms could be a
sign of an infection or allergic reaction.
