5. Install the new transmission filter. Be sure to tighten the screws securely.
6. Install the new transmission fluid gasket. The transmission fluid gasket is usually located on the bottom of the transmission pan.
7. Reinstall the transmission pan. Be sure to tighten the bolts securely.
8. Add new transmission fluid. Be sure to check the transmission fluid level and add fluid as needed.
