Club Car Precedent Body Removal
Tools and Materials
- 10mm socket wrench
- 13mm socket wrench
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Flathead screwdriver
- Pry bar
- Safety glasses
- Gloves
Safety Precautions
- Wear safety glasses and gloves when working on your Club Car Precedent.
- Disconnect the battery before beginning any work.
- Be careful not to damage any of the electrical wires or components.
- If you are not comfortable performing this task, please consult a qualified mechanic.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Remove the Seat
- Locate the two bolts at the rear of the seat.
- Use a 13mm socket wrench to remove the bolts.
- Lift the seat up and off the frame.
2. Remove the Front Cowl
- Locate the two screws at the top of the front cowl.
- Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws.
- Lift the front cowl up and off the frame.
3. Remove the Rear Cowl
- Locate the two screws at the bottom of the rear cowl.
- Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws.
- Lift the rear cowl up and off the frame.
4. Remove the Side Panels
- Locate the two screws at the top of each side panel.
- Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws.
- Lift the side panels up and off the frame.
5. Disconnect the Electrical Connectors
- Locate the electrical connectors on the inside of the body panels.
- Use a flathead screwdriver to disconnect the connectors.
6. Remove the Body Panels
- Grip the body panels on both sides.
- Pull the body panels straight up and off the frame.
Reinstallation
To reinstall the body panels, simply reverse the steps above.
