Steps
1. Choose a design.
The first step is to choose a design for your RC car body. There are many different designs available online, or you can create your own. Once you have a design, you can print it out on paper.
2. Cut out the body.
Once you have a design, you can start cutting out the body. You can use scissors or a razor blade to cut the body out of Lexan or polycarbonate sheet. Be sure to cut the body out carefully, as you don’t want to damage the material.
3. Sand the body.
Once you have cut out the body, you can sand it to smooth the edges. You can use sandpaper or a sanding block to sand the body. Be sure to sand the body until it is smooth to the touch.
4. Paint the body.
Once you have sanded the body, you can paint it. You can use any type of paint you want, but acrylic paint is a good choice for RC car bodies. Be sure to apply several coats of paint, and let each coat dry completely before applying the next coat.
5. Apply decals.
Once you have painted the body, you can apply decals. Decals are a great way to add detail and realism to your RC car body. You can find decals online or at your local hobby shop.
6. Mount the body.
Once you have finished painting and decaling the body, you can mount it on your RC car. You can use body posts or magnets to mount the body. Be sure to mount the body securely, as you don’t want it to come off while you’re driving your RC car.
7. Enjoy your new RC car body!
Congratulations, you have now made your own RC car body! Now you can enjoy driving your RC car with a new look.
