How to Paint an Aluminum Car Body
Materials
- Sandpaper (120 grit)
- Sandpaper (220 grit)

Instructions
1. Prepare the Surface
- Sand the surface of the aluminum car body with 120 grit sandpaper to remove any rust or corrosion.
- Sand the surface of the aluminum car body with 220 grit sandpaper to smooth out the surface.
- Sand the surface of the aluminum car body with 400 grit sandpaper to create a smooth surface for the primer to adhere to.

4. Apply the Clear Coat
- Apply a thin coat of clear coat to the surface of the aluminum car body.
- Allow the clear coat to dry for the amount of time recommended by the manufacturer.
5. Remove the Masking Tape
- Remove the masking tape from the aluminum car body.
6. Allow the Paint to Cure
- Allow the paint to cure for the amount of time recommended by the manufacturer.
Tips
- Use a high-quality primer and paint.
- Apply thin coats of primer and paint.
- Allow each coat of primer and paint to dry completely before applying the next coat.
