Introduction
Bodys is the ninth studio album by American rock band Car Seat Headrest. It was released digitally on May 15, 2020, by Matador Records, with a physical release following on June 5. The album was recorded in a farmhouse in upstate New York with producer Dan Carey. It is the band’s first album to feature a full band since 2017’s Teens of Denial.
Bodys is a departure from the band’s previous albums, both in terms of sound and subject matter. The album is more experimental and ambient than previous releases, and it features more personal and introspective lyrics.
