  • 13mm wrench
  • Phillips screwdriver

Procedure

  1. Park the Club Car on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
  2. Locate the transmission shift cable. It is located on the passenger side of the transmission, just below the engine.
  3. Loosen the 10mm locknut on the shift cable using the 10mm wrench.
  4. Turn the 13mm nut on the shift cable until the shift lever moves freely into all positions.
  5. Tighten the 10mm locknut to secure the adjustment.
  6. Test the shift cable by shifting the transmission into all positions. The shift lever should move smoothly and easily.

Tips

  • If the shift cable is not adjusted properly, it can cause the transmission to slip or shift hard.
  • It is important to check the shift cable adjustment regularly, especially after any maintenance or repairs have been performed on the transmission.
  • If you are not comfortable adjusting the shift cable yourself, you can take the Club Car to a qualified mechanic.
