On Wednesday, October 12, 2023, at approximately 10:30 AM, the United States Coast Guard received a report of a vehicle submerged in the Niagara River, just above Horseshoe Falls. The Niagara Falls Fire Department and New York State Park Police were already on scene and had secured the area.
