Dog Statue from Car Bellhousing and Transmission
Introduction
This is a project I did to create a dog statue from a car bellhousing and transmission. I found the bellhousing and transmission at a scrap yard and thought they would be perfect for this project. The bellhousing is the part of the engine that the transmission bolts to, and the transmission is the part of the car that transfers power from the engine to the wheels.

Instructions
- Start by cleaning the bellhousing and transmission. Remove any grease or dirt that may be on them.
- Next, you need to cut the bellhousing in half. This will be the body of the dog.
- Once the bellhousing is cut in half, you need to cut the transmission in half. This will be the head of the dog.
- Now, you need to weld the two halves of the bellhousing together. Make sure that the two halves are lined up correctly.
- Once the two halves of the bellhousing are welded together, you need to weld the head of the dog to the body. Make sure that the head is lined up correctly.
- Next, you need to add the metal rods to the body of the dog. These will be the legs of the dog.
- Once the metal rods are added, you need to add the nuts and bolts. These will hold the legs in place.
- Now, you need to add the epoxy to the body of the dog. This will fill in any gaps and make the dog more stable.
- Once the epoxy is dry, you need to sand the dog. This will smooth out the surface of the dog.
- Now, you need to apply primer to the dog. This will help the paint to adhere to the dog.
- Once the primer is dry, you need to paint the dog. You can use any color of paint that you want.
- Once the paint is dry, your dog statue is complete.
