History
The Fisher Body Company was founded in 1908 by brothers Fred J. Fisher and Lawrence P. Fisher. The company was based in Detroit, Michigan, and initially supplied bodies to the Ford Motor Company. In 1911, Fisher Body became a subsidiary of General Motors (GM). Under the leadership of GM president William C.
