9,000 Dollars Behind on Car with Broken Transmission

Introduction

I’m writing this post because I’m in a really tough situation. I’m 9,000 dollars behind on my car payments, and my transmission just went out. I don’t know how I’m going to get out of this hole.

How I Got Into This Situation

I’m a single mom with two young children. I work full-time, but I don’t make a lot of money. I’ve been struggling to keep up with my bills for months, and I’ve been using my credit cards to make ends meet.

When my transmission went out, I didn’t have the money to fix it. I took out a payday loan, but that just made things worse. The interest rates are so high that I’m now paying more than I can afford.

What I’ve Tried to Do

I’ve tried everything I can think of to get out of this situation. I’ve called my creditors and asked for help, but they’ve all said no. I’ve tried to get a loan from a bank, but I was denied because of my bad credit.

I’m at my wit’s end. I don’t know what to do. I’m afraid I’m going to lose my car, my job, and my home.
