  • Teach the patient healthy coping mechanisms for dealing with their altered body image, such as exercise, yoga, or meditation.
  • Refer the patient to a therapist or counselor if needed.

Evaluation

  • Evaluate the patient’s progress towards their goals at regular intervals.
  • Make adjustments to the care plan as needed.
