Beachside Body Care
Protection from the Sun
When spending time at the beach, it is important to protect your skin from the sun’s harmful UV rays. The best way to do this is to wear sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher. Reapply sunscreen every two hours, or more often if you are swimming or sweating. Additionally, wear protective clothing, such as a hat and sunglasses.
Moisturization
The sun and salt water can dry out your skin, so it is important to moisturize regularly. Use a thick, creamy moisturizer that will help to keep your skin hydrated. Apply moisturizer after showering or swimming, and as needed throughout the day.
Exfoliation
Exfoliating your skin helps to remove dead skin cells and promote healthy skin growth. Exfoliate your skin once or twice a week using a gentle scrub. This will help to keep your skin looking smooth and radiant.
Hair Care
The sun and salt water can also damage your hair. To protect your hair, wear a hat or scarf when you are at the beach. Additionally, use a leave-in conditioner or hair serum to help keep your hair hydrated and protected.
Lip Care
Your lips are also susceptible to damage from the sun and salt water. Protect your lips by applying a lip balm with an SPF of 15 or higher. Reapply lip balm throughout the day, as needed.
Foot Care
If you are going to be walking on the beach, it is important to protect your feet from the hot sand and sharp shells. Wear sandals or flip-flops that will provide support and protection. Additionally, apply a foot cream to help keep your feet hydrated and prevent blisters.
